We provide private Covid vaccines for those that do not meet the NHS criteria.

Flu Vaccine

We offer the flu vaccination privately for anyone that does not meet the NHS criteria.

Chicken Pox Vaccine

Chicken Pox vaccine prevents the highly contagious viral infection caused by the varicella zoster virus. A full course is 2 vaccines.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine protects against HPV, a common virus that can increase the risk of certain cancers. A full course requires 3 vaccines.

Shingles Vaccine

Shingles vaccine protects against shingles, a painful rash caused by the same virus as chickenpox. A full course requires 2 vaccines.

Pneumonia Vaccine

Pneumonia vaccine protects against serious illnesses like pneumonia and meningitis caused by pneumococcal bacteria.

Can I get a free flu vaccine?

You may be entitled to a free flu vaccine on the NHS if you fall into one of the eligible groups. If you are not eligible, you can still have the flu vaccine privately at our pharmacy.

Who can get it free on the NHS: 

  • Adults aged 65 or over (including those turning 65 by 31 March 2026)
  • People aged 18–64 with certain long-term health conditions
  • Pregnant women
  • Care home residents
  • Main carers for older/disabled people or those receiving a carer’s allowance
  • People living with someone who has a weakened immune system
  • Most children are offered the vaccine through school or via GP/pharmacy programmes (ages 2–3 and school years Reception–11)

You can book a private flu vaccine above for a fee.

Do I have to pay for a Covid vaccine?

You do not have to pay for a Covid vaccine on the NHS if you are eligible under current NHS criteria.

Who can get it free on the NHS:

  • People aged 75 and over (including those turning 75 by 31 January 2026)
  • People aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system due to health condition/treatment
  • Residents of care homes for older adults
  • The NHS may contact you (letter/text) if you are eligible and invite you to book.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

Just your name and date of birth. If you have a vaccination record or know the date of your previous doses, bring that too but it’s not essential.

Is there down time afterwards?

Most people return to normal activities straight away. Mild arm soreness or tiredness can happen depending on the vaccine, we will make sure you are aware of these at your appointment.

Can I book same day vaccines?

Yes, especially for flu, COVID, shingles, B12 and pneumonia vaccines. Depending on availability, which you will see when you go through the online booking process.

Do you vaccinate children?

Some vaccines are suitable for older children and teens. Our pharmacist will advise you.

Where are you located?

We are centrally located in Gorleston, with easy access from Great Yarmouth, Bradwell and Belton. Nearby parking and regular bus routes are available.

How long does the appointment take?

Most vaccination appointments take around 10-15 minutes including consultation and aftercare.
